We like to keep you abreast of all possibilities, so here are links to the public libraries in our area - just in case you can't find everything you need here. Your Alameda County library card will gain you access to the San Lorenzo and Hayward branches. All Arroyo students may get a San Leandro City Library card by going to the library and showing your school ID.

Alameda County Library

The San Lorenzo Branch of the Alameda County Library is located at 395 Paseo Grande, San Lorenzo.

Monday Tuesday 12 Noon - 8 p.m.

Wednesday Thursday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Hayward Public Library

Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

A library card is issued free of charge to any person who can verify his or her current address in California with acceptable identification.

San Leandro Public Library

The San Leandro Public Main Library is located at 300 Estudillo Avenue, San Leandro. Phone: (510) 577-3971

Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Friday 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Permanent residents within the incorporated limits of the City of San Leandro are eligible for a free library card. A photo identification and verification of residence are required. Complimentary cards are also available to students enrolled in Arroyo HS, Corvallis Elementary, Dayton Elementary and Washington Manor MS.
