Graduation Requirements

High School Graduation Requirements


All students beginning with the class of 2014 must complete 220 credits which must include the following: 

•     40 credits English

•     30 credits Social Studies

•     30 credits Math  (must include Algebra 1)

•     30 credits Science (one physical, one life, and one additional year of either type)

•     5 credits Health

•     20 credits Fine Arts/ Foreign Language OR Career Technology Courses (provision modified by district March 2014) 

•     20 credits Physical Education

•     45 credits Electives

Pass the state mandated California High School Exit Exam (CaHSEE) in both Math and English with a score of 350 minimum.
