Preparing for College

The Future Academy believes that continuing education is a necessary tool for today’s high school graduates. In college, students explore real-world issues and further develop the skills necessary to make valuable contributions to society.Students in the Future Academy visit colleges several times throughout their high school career.  These visits introduce students to the application process, entrance requirements, and how to be successful after high school, but most importantly they implant the “college bug” early on and inspire students to take the steps towards college.

Future Alumni

Approximately 90 percent of Future Academy students continue on to higher education.  The most recent graduates are attending UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, Arizona State University, Sonoma State University, San Jose State University, Cal State East Bay, Humboldt State University, and St. Mary's College.
