Marching Band & Color Guard Champions!

The Arroyo High School Marching Dons traveled to Fairfield High School to participate in the Northern California Band Association's Tournament of Champions. Braving the high winds and rainy weather, the Dons pulled off their best performance of the season with a first place win in division 2ADrum Major, Noah Bendell, received a third place trophy overall for Best Drum Major caption.

The Marching Dons began the season late, deciding if there was enough interest in having a field show band this year, as the size of the band had declined since last year. The students, however, were undeterred, and voted to be back onto the field again. Struggling with placing 6th through 8th all season long, the Dons built up the momentum and pushed themselves to improve, moving forward to the season finale, the Tournament of Champions!. Their hard work and dedication paid off with a win and a 1st place trophy.  Congratulations to the Arroyo High School Marching Dons!

Jazz Ensemble Performance

Our Arroyo Jazz Ensemble has been active in playing for various functions. We were invited to perform at the Northern California Regional Holiday Luncheon of the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO), December 9, 2016. The luncheon gave us a standing ovation for our performance, and also presented the Jazz Ensemble with a donation of $500.00 for our services.
